Yashika Aannand began her career as an Instagram model before entering films. Her first theatrical appearance was in Kavalai Vendam (2016), followed by her breakthrough role as Shruti in the acclaimed thriller Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru (2016). She gained wider popularity with Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu (2018) and as a contestant on Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2.

Her recent films include Double Tuckerr, Weapon, and a special appearance in Jolly O Gymkhana (2024). Ongoing projects feature Devil’s Double Next Level (2025), Rajabheema, TN 2026, and Sulphur.
