Born on September 29, 1993, in Chandigarh, Wamiqa began her journey as a child artist with a small role in Jab We Met (2007). She made her lead debut in Hindi cinema with Sixteen (2013) and quickly became a leading lady in Punjabi films, delivering hits like Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22 (2013), Nikka Zaildar 2 (2017), Nikka Zaildar 3 (2019), and the acclaimed crime drama Kali Jotta (2023).

Her versatility shines across languages. She impressed in Malayalam with Godha (2017), earned critical praise for Jubilee (2023) and Vishal Bhardwaj’s Khufiya (2023), and entered mainstream Hindi cinema with Baby John (2024), Bhool Chuk Maaf (2025), and the horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla (2026), the latter marking a major commercial success.

Wamiqa’s ongoing and upcoming projects reflect her pan-India appeal, including Pati Patni Aur Woh 2, G2 (Telugu spy thriller), Tika Taka (Malayalam), Kikli (Punjabi), Genie, Prahaar, and more—showcasing her range from romance and comedy to thrillers.

With her charm, depth, and dedication, Wamiqa Gabbi continues to rise as one of Indian cinema’s most promising talents.
