Trisha Krishnan made her acting debut with a special appearance in the Tamil film Jodi (1999) before her first leading role in Lesa Lesa (2003). She rose to stardom with hits like Ghilli (2004), Athadu (2005), Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010), and the critically acclaimed 96 (2018). Her role as Kundavai in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan series further cemented her status as one of South Indian cinema’s most versatile actresses.

Recent films include Leo (2023), Vidaamuyarchi, Good Bad Ugly, and Thug Life (all 2025), along with Karuppu (2026). She is currently shooting an untitled psychological horror film in London directed by Raja Krishna Menon, co-starring Radhika Sarathkumar and Aparna Balamurali, and awaits the release of Vishwambhara.
