Born on February 23, 1994, in New Delhi to a Garhwali family from Uttarakhand, Dimri made her credited film debut in the comedy Poster Boys (2017). Her first lead role came in the romantic drama Laila Majnu (2018). She earned critical acclaim with Anvita Dutt’s Netflix films Bulbbul (2020), for which she won a Filmfare OTT Award for Best Actress, and Qala (2022).
Wider popularity arrived with her supporting role as Zoya in the blockbuster Animal (2023), earning a Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actress. In 2024, she starred in the comedies Bad Newz, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, and the horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. She followed with the socially themed Dhadak 2 (2025) opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi.
In 2026, Dimri appeared in Vishal Bhardwaj’s O’Romeo opposite Shahid Kapoor and the Netflix film Maa Behen. Ongoing projects include Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit (2027) with Prabhas, continuing her rise as a versatile force in Hindi cinema.
