She earned critical acclaim for her Hindi debut in Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds (2017). Malavika rose to stardom with Tamil blockbusters like Petta (2019) with Rajinikanth and Master (2021) with Vijay. Her recent releases include Thangalaan (2024), Yudhra (2024), and Hridayapoorvam (2025) opposite Mohanlal.

She made her Telugu debut in the Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab (2026).
