Held at HITEX, Hyderabad on June 14, the awards honored excellence in films released between June 2014 and December 2024, with top awards going to Kalki 2898 AD (Best Feature Film), Allu Arjun (Pushpa 2) (Best Actor), and Niveda Thomas (35: Chinna Katha Kaadu) (Best Actress).
The event was graced by film legends including Nandamuri Balakrishna, Allu Arjun, S.S. Rajamouli, Dil Raju and Vijay Deverakonda, alongside political dignitaries like CM Revanth Reddy.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, presenting the inaugural TGFA honors, reiterated the government’s commitment to Hyderabad as India’s film hub and pledged continued support to the industry through initiatives like single-window clearances and dedicated TFDC infrastructure.
Highlights included a warm hug exchanged between CM Revanth Reddy and Allu Arjun, dispelling past tensions and symbolizing their industry unity. The event not only celebrated cinematic achievements but also reinforced a renewed partnership between the state and Tollywood.
