The Mumbai-born actress began her career at 15 with the 2005 Hindi film Chand Sa Roshan Chehra. The same year she entered Telugu cinema with Sree, followed by her Tamil debut in Kedi (2006). Breakthrough success arrived in 2007 with the college dramas Happy Days (Telugu) and Kalloori (Tamil), establishing her as a leading star across South Indian cinema.
