Born on February 8, 1982, in Manchester, England, Sophie began her career as a pop singer in the early 2000s with the girl band Sansara before going solo with hits like “Habibi” and “Le Le Mera Dil.” She later became a popular MTV India VJ hosting MTV Loveline.

She made her Bollywood debut in David Dhawan’s Shaadi No. 1 (2005) and appeared in films such as Pyaar Ke Side Effects (2006), Aa Dekhen Zara (2009), Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai Dobara (2013), and special appearances in Shootout at Wadala and the Telugu film 1: Nenokkadine. In 2024, she featured in Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2.
