The joyous celebration began four days before the wedding, bringing both families together to commemorate the love between Sonarika and Vikas. The actress shared glimpses of her wedding on Instagram, where she dazzled in a red gaghra adorned with green beads and heavy jewelry. Her bridal attire included a dupatta draped gracefully at the back, while she wore heavy jhumkas and adorned flowers in her hair.

The mehendi ceremony held a special connection to Sonarika's TV show Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, featuring Parvati and Mahadev's depiction. For this occasion, Sonarika chose to wear her mother's wedding lehenga, looking stunning in a green velvet top paired with a red lehenga and matching dupatta. Vikas complemented her attire with a green kurta-pajama set, showcasing their love and joy in the shared pictures.

The couple's journey to marriage started seven years ago when they met at the gym. Sonarika announced their roka ceremony on December 3, 2022, expressing gratitude for the "gift of a lifetime."
