Have you seen Sonam Kapoor’s recent photo from Vogue India? It’s not just about fashion this time. It’s also about emotions and mental health. In her own words, Sonam admits, “I would like to start therapy because the world is different now.” Don’t we all feel that way sometimes?

Despite having a loving family as her anchor, Sonam says it’s difficult to handle the sensory overload in today’s world. “In Mumbai, you don’t even have nature, so how do you ground yourself?” she asks. A bold question from someone who always seemed to have it all.

The shoot for vogue was a massive team effort. The editorial content was led by Rochelle Pinto, photography by Ashish Shah, and styling by none other than Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor. The words that brought out Sonam’s feelings were penned by Arman Khan. Hair was done by Hiral Bhatia (Entourage Talents) and makeup by Namrata Soni. The team also included Aliza Fatma, Shagun Jangid, Megha Mehta, Rebecca Gonsalves, and Imran Khatri Productions with support from Anish Oommen, Manisha Melwani, Abhilasha Devnani, Sanya Kapoor and more.

Her elegant Dior dress and vintage Gujarati jewellery (courtesy of Amrapali Museum) completed the look.

Sonam started her Bollywood journey with Saawariya and shined in Raanjhanaa, Neerja, and Khoobsurat. Known for both her fashion and acting, she’s now opening up about inner struggles too.
