Sonam Kapoor Shines in Gold at Event in Custom Gaurav Gupta Dress

Sonam Kapoor attended an event for Kerastase. Her sister Rhea Kapoor styled her. She wore a custom couture dress by Gaurav Gupta. This design was part of his show at Paris Couture Week. The dress is one of the rare midi-length outfits by Gaurav Gupta.

According to Gaurav Gupta's official page, Sonam wore a Gilded Drip Metal Breastplate over a Cosmic Tulle dress. The gold breastplate had intricate details. It fit her body perfectly like a second skin. The strapless design and asymmetric lines gave a feminine touch to her look.

The Cosmic Tulle dress had a strapless silhouette. The pleated satin design at the waist made it look elegant. The voluminous skirt added drama. The midi-length hem gave the dress a playful feel.

Sonam kept her accessories minimal. She wore gold ear cuffs, diamond ear studs and a statement ring. Her hair was loose with a center parting. Her makeup included brown eyeshadow, black eyeliner and mascara. She used a mauve lip shade and a highlighter for a glowing effect. Black pumps completed her look.
