Sonam Kapoor has been away from the screen for a while, with her last appearance in the 2023 film Blind. She has now announced plans to return to acting, with shooting set to start early next year. This project will mark Sonam's first venture after becoming a mother. Details about her return remain a secret, but it is confirmed that it will be a streaming project on a global platform.

In her recent work, Sonam starred in Blind, a crime-thriller that is a remake of a Korean film from 2011. Directed by Shome Makhija and produced by Sujoy Ghosh, this marked her return after a six-year hiatus following The Zoya Factor. Next, audiences can look forward to watching her in Battle for Bittora, which is based on Anuja Chauhan's novel. Sonam first entered the world of Bollywood with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Saawariya, which launched her successful career.

On her Instagram, Sonam shared a lovely photo showcasing her sense of style.
