Despite the backlash, Sonal expressed her belief in the film's potential to revolutionize Bollywood cinema. She praised the director, Om Raut, for his storytelling prowess and technical expertise.

In Adipurush, Sonal shares the screen with Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and other notable actors, in a retelling of the epic Ramayana. The film was released in multiple languages last year, aiming to reach a wider audience.

Beyond Adipurush, Sonal Chauhan has a diverse filmography. She was last seen in the 2022 action thriller, The Ghost, alongside Nagarjuna. Sonal made her debut in Bollywood with Jannat in 2008, opposite Emraan Hashmi, catching the director's eye at a restaurant, leading to her casting.
