Sonal Chauhan, born on 16 May 1987 in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, is an Indian actress and former model. She first gained fame as a Miss India runner-up and through her modelling work before stepping into films.

Her movie debut was a blockbuster success — she starred opposite Shahid Kapoor in the 2008 Telugu-Hindi bilingual film Jannat, playing the role of Preity. The film was a major hit and established her as a promising actress. She has since appeared in films across Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil cinema, including Rainbow (2008), 3G (2013), Ek Paheli Leela (2015), Jackpot (2019), and The Ghost (2022) opposite Nagarjuna.
