Simran Kaur was born on August 15, 1997, in a Punjabi family in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. She completed her education in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. After graduation, she participated in a modelling competition and won the title of Miss Bundelkhand 2017.

Simran was passionate about acting since childhood. To pursue her acting career, she took acting lessons in Jhansi. She also participated in many theatre plays in lead roles. Additionally, she attended an acting workshop at BNA Lucknow. In 2019, she moved to Mumbai and made her debut on the television show Crime Patrol.

She gained recognition as Namrata in the Punjabi hit show Akhiya Udeek Diya. Simran has also appeared in numerous shows, web series and advertisements in cameo, second lead and lead roles.

Kumkum Bhagya is a well-known Indian Hindi-language drama series. Produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms, it first aired on April 15, 2014.
