Meanwhile Shweta Basu Prasad recently opened up about a painful memory from her time in the Telugu film industry. In an interview, she shared that she was once bullied on a film set because of her height. Standing at 5�2�, she recalled how people kept comparing her to her male co star who was over six feet tall. The crew often mocked her for being short something beyond her control. Shweta rightly pointed out that height is a genetic trait and not something to be ridiculed for.

She also highlighted the double standards she faced. While she was mocked for her height, her male co star despite being a native Telugu speaker struggled with his lines and needed several retakes but no one criticized him for it. Shweta who wasn�t fluent in Telugu herself still managed to deliver her dialogues.

Despite this experience, she didn�t let it affect her career. Shweta has acted in several Telugu films such as Kotha Bangaru Lokam, Ride and Vijeta and also in Hindi and Tamil cinema.
