She made her film debut in 2002 with Vishal Bhardwaj’s Makdee, playing a double role that earned her the National Film Award for Best Child Artist at just 11 years old. Her performance as Khadija in Nagesh Kukunoor’s Iqbal (2005) further cemented her talent, winning her acclaim and making her a household name.

She transitioned seamlessly into adult roles with her Telugu debut Kotha Bangaru Lokam (2008), a massive hit.
