On the work front, her latest appearance was in Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire. This 2023 Telugu-language action drama was directed by Prashanth Neel. Vijay Kiragandur produced the film under Hombale Films. Prabhas played the lead role, with an ensemble cast including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha and Sriya Reddy. The film was set in the fictional city-state of Khansaar. It portrayed the friendship between Deva, played by Prabhas, and Varadha, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The story followed their fight against a planned coup. Shruti Haasan�s performance was well-received.

Shruti Haasan will soon be seen in Jana Nayagan. This Tamil-language political action thriller is directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions. The film stars Vijay, Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol.
