Daughter of legendary actor Kamal Haasan, Shruti first appeared on screen as a child artist in Hey Ram (2000). She made her lead debut in the Hindi film Luck (2009) and soon established herself in South Indian cinema with films like Anaganaga O Dheerudu, 7 Aum Arivu, Gabbar Singh, and the hit Race Gurram.

Known for her versatility as an actress and singer, she delivered strong performances in Krack, Waltair Veerayya, and the blockbuster Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (2023). In 2025 she starred in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie alongside Rajinikanth.

Her upcoming slate includes Aakasamlo Oka Tara opposite Dulquer Salmaan (November 2026), Salaar: Part 2, and a role in Call Me Bae Season 2, keeping her busy across films and streaming.
