Daughter of Kamal Haasan and Sarika, Shruti (born January 28, 1986) began as a child artist and singer. She made her adult acting debut with the Hindi film Luck (2009). Her breakthrough came in 2011 with dual South debuts � Telugu film Anaganaga O Dheerudu and Tamil film 7 Aum Arivu � winning her the Filmfare Best Female Debut � South award.
