Shruti Haasan Blends Glamour With Dark Elegance

Actress and singer Shruti Haasan shared a striking new photoshoot captioned “Life is a blur .” Seated against a reflective metallic backdrop with soft pink lighting, she appears in a sheer grey satin robe layered over a black lace bralette and matching pants. Her long dark hair cascades over her shoulders as she looks down with closed eyes, hands gently touching her hair and waist. Multiple layered necklaces, including a prominent cross pendant, and statement rings complete the edgy yet elegant look.

Daughter of legendary actor Kamal Haasan, Shruti made her first screen appearance as a child in Hey Ram (2000). Her adult acting debut came with the Hindi film Luck (2009). She rose to prominence in South Indian cinema with 7 Aum Arivu and Anaganaga O Dheerudu (both 2011), winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South.

She has delivered major hits including Race Gurram, Srimanthudu, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (2023), and Coolie (2025) opposite Rajinikanth. Upcoming projects include Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam, Aakasamlo Oka Tara with Dulquer Salmaan, the Tamil film Train, and Call Me Bae Season 2.
