After completing her studies, she returned to pursue acting full-time. She made her full-fledged lead debut in Telugu cinema with the horror-comedy Subham (2025), produced by Samantha Ruth Prabhu, where she played the role of Srivalli opposite Harshith Reddy. The film received positive responses for her performance.

She has also starred in 14 Days: Girlfriend Intlo (2025) as Ahana. Shriya is quickly gaining recognition for her natural acting and screen presence.
