Born on March 4, 1987, in Mumbai to Bengali parents, Shraddha Das graduated with a degree in Mass Media Journalism before entering cinema. She made her acting debut in the 2008 Telugu film Siddu from Srikakulam, but gained widespread recognition with her breakthrough role in Sukumar's Arya 2 (2009). Her actual first shot film was the critically acclaimed Hindi movie Lahore (2010), where she played a Pakistani psychiatrist.

Shraddha has worked across Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, and more, earning the nickname "sequel queen" for roles in films like Nagavalli and Diary. Notable works include Zid (2014), Great Grand Masti (2016), Babumoshai Bandookbaaz (2017), and the series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter (2022).

As of 2026, specific ongoing film projects remain under wraps, with fans anticipating her next versatile performance.
