Shilpa Shetty recently took to Instagram to share a picture of herself in a vibrant green saree. She is seen with her free-flowing hair and a radiant smile. Whe captioned the post, "I eat my greens and wear them too!" . Also pic subtly promoted her upcoming film, KD The Devil.

The picture which received a lot of attention, was shared in the lead up to the teaser launch of her upcoming pan-Indian project.

Meanwhile Shilpa Shetty's appearance at the teaser launch event for KD The Devil was much anticipated. The film directed by Prem is a multi lingual project that will be released in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The teaser which was unveiled on July 10 presented a dynamic montage of characters featuring Sanjay Dutt as Dhak Deva and Dhruva Sarja as Kaali Dasa (KD), the lead role.

During the event, Shilpa Shetty was asked about the ongoing Marathi language controversy in Maharashtra, which has been a hot topic in the media. The controversy began when the state government planned to introduce Hindi as a third language in primary schools. This sparked strong opposition from various groups, and the decision was eventually reversed. Despite being asked about the issue, Shilpa Shetty chose not to comment directly on it, saying she didn�t want to fuel any further controversy. Instead, she emphasized her roots by saying, �Me Maharashtra chi mulgi aahe" (I�m a girl from Maharashtra) and focused the conversation back to her film.

Shilpa further explained that KD The Devil is a multi lingual film and can be dubbed into Marathi as well. Her co-star Sanjay Dutt also avoided the topic affering a subtle smile in response to her comment.
