Born on June 14, 1997, in Mumbai, Sharvari Wagh (known mononymously as Sharvari) is a rising Hindi film actress and the granddaughter of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Manohar Joshi. She began her career as an assistant director on films including Bajirao Mastani and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2.

She made her acting debut in the Amazon Prime series The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye (2020). Her film debut came with Yash Raj Films’ Bunty Aur Babli 2 (2021), earning her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

Sharvari achieved her breakthrough with the hit horror-comedy Munjya (2024). The same year, she appeared in Maharaj and Vedaa. In 2026, she starred in Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga and joined the YRF Spy Universe in Alpha opposite Alia Bhatt. Upcoming projects include Yeh Prem Mol Liya. With versatile performances, she continues to establish herself as a promising Bollywood talent.
