Sharvari took to Instagram to share a captivating moment titled “The candle story 🕯️”. The photo, taken by popular photographer Sasha Jairam, shows Sharvari in a dramatic setting filled with warm candlelight and vintage decor. Following her growing popularity, Sharvari is also making headlines for her upcoming movie projects. Reports suggest that a sequel to the 2019 hit Luka Chuppi is currently in the works. This time, the film will take a new direction by adding a supernatural element to the romantic comedy. Sharvari is expected to play the female lead opposite Varun Dhawan. Both actors have reportedly agreed to be part of the film, which will be directed by Laxman Utekar—the same filmmaker who directed the original movie.

Luka Chuppi became a box office hit thanks to its humorous take on modern relationships in traditional Indian settings. The original featured Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon as a couple who pretend to be married to live together, only to end up hiding the truth from their conservative families. With Sharvari and Varun stepping in and a fresh twist in the storyline, the sequel is expected to bring something new to audiences while keeping the fun spirit of the original. Filming is likely to begin in the first half of 2026.
