She completed her B.Com from Thakur College of Science and Commerce in Mumbai. Shanvi debuted in Telugu with Lovely (2012) while still studying, followed by Adda. She made her Kannada debut in the horror comedy Chandralekha (2014), earning praise for her possessed character portrayal. Her breakthrough came with Masterpiece (2015) opposite Yash, winning the SIIMA Critics Award for Best Actress – Kannada. She shone in Tarak (2017) opposite Darshan, securing the SIIMA Award for Best Actress – Kannada, and impressed in Avane Srimannarayana (2019) and Mufti (2017). In 2024, she debuted in Marathi with Raanti opposite Sharad Kelkar.
