On the professional front, Shanaya Kapoor is set to make her debut with Mohanlal’s pan-India project "Vrushabha," directed by Nanda Kishore. The film is produced by Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, Connekkt Media, and AVS Studios, and was announced last year. Besides Shanaya, the film will also feature Zahra S Khan, daughter of veteran actor Salma Agha, in a significant role. Although the official release date is not out yet, "Vrushabha" will be released in Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi later this year.

Previously, Shanaya Kapoor was supposed to make her debut in Dharma Productions’ film "Bedhadak" alongside Lakshya and Gurfateh Pirzada. She even shared her first look from the film on social media. However, reports suggest that the Shashank Khaitan directorial has been shelved. Additionally, there were rumors that she would feature with Tiger Shroff in a film titled "Screw Dheela," which was also expected to be backed by Dharma Productions but has been put on hold for unknown reasons.
