Shama Sikander Timeless Throwback in Black Dress

Actor Shama Sikander shared a striking moment on Instagram capturing the hearts of her followers. In the photo, Shama stands tall in a long black dress with a high slit, paired with ankle boots. A white coat drapes off her shoulders and Her caption reads:

In a recent interview, Shama Sikander opened up about one of the hardest periods in her life. She revealed that she had battled severe depression and bipolar disorder around 15 years ago. Shama shared that during this time, she even attempted suicide but was saved by her family. The actor, known for her role in Yeh Meri Life Hai, admitted she felt completely drained by life’s struggles and decided to step away from the acting world. She said she later realized that her grandmother might have also suffered from bipolar disorder, though it had been misunderstood as something spiritual in the past.

Shama bravely spoke about the emotional challenges she faced. She said that on the night she tried to take her life, she sent her bank details to her brother, which made him alarmed. Her brother quickly reached out to their mother, who was reading the Quran at the time, and the family rushed to her aid. Shama remembered how they struggled to lift her unconscious body and take her to the hospital, only to face resistance from doctors because it was a suicide case. Despite this, her family’s love and quick action saved her life including finding love and marrying James Milliron in 2022.
