Shama Sikander Relaxes by the Sea

TV actress Shama Sikander shared a photo of herself enjoying the ocean waves in Saint-Tropez. She’s smiling joyfully while standing in the clear blue waters in the photo. She captioned the post:

"Me, the sea, and the soft return to myself.

Where waves kiss my feet and I remember.

I am already whole. 🐬💫." She tagged the music playing as Love Looks Pretty On You by Nessa Barrett.

Shama’s connection with nature comes at a time when she recently spoke about a very different experience. In a candid interview, she shared how a leading actor made her uncomfortable during an advertisement shoot. “Hugging me wasn't part of the shoot initially,” Shama explained. “He wanted to hug me for some reason.” She said he improvised and added a moment where he twirls and hugs her while putting on jewellery. “When he tried to hug me, it felt like I was uncomfortable with it. I had never sensed that before,” she added.

She continued, “I have worked with so many people, I have many guy friends, and they have never made me feel that way. It was very shocking and weird for me. I said that man was a superstar. Why does he have to pull such a stunt? It was a very shocking incident in my life. I had met that person for the first time, and he had an attitude, something didn’t seem normal. Mai khud zindagi mein unke saath kaam nahi karungi.” Shama also revealed that after she left the shoot, the director told her that her role had been recast. “I cried all night,” she said. She added that this kind of sudden replacement happens a lot in the industry, which can be both upsetting and unfair.
