Sanjeeda Shaikh Slays Grace in Black

Sanjeeda Shaikh is a well-known name in the Indian television industry. She has captivated audiences for many years. Recently she showcased her talent once again. Sanjeeda played the role of Waheeda in the new OTT series by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, called Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Her character is complex and layered. Waheeda faces betrayal from both her family and her fate.

Heeramandi is set in the 1940s. It tells a story against the backdrop of India's struggle for independence. The series explores the cultural reality of a major district in pre-partition India. It focuses on the lives of courtesans and nawabs. The cast of Heeramandi includes popular actors like Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, and of course, Sanjeeda Shaikh. Other notable names in the cast are Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah, Shekhar Suman and Adhyayan Suman. The series premiered on Netflix on May 1.

Recently Sanjeeda shared a beautiful photo on her Instagram. In the picture she wears an elegant black dress that highlights her style. She captioned the photo mentioning all the talented people who helped create her look.
