The much-anticipated Tamil movie Ace, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Rukmini Vasanth, is now open for advance booking. The film is all set to hit theatres on May 23, 2025. Directed by Arumuga Kumar, this movie marks his second collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi after their 2017 film Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren.

Ace is a romantic crime comedy where Vijay Sethupathi plays Kannan, a man whose dream of moving abroad falls apart after a failed heist. He ends up getting pulled deeper into the world of crime, leading to a chaotic and emotional journey. Rukmini Vasanth plays the female lead, with Yogi Babu, P. S. Avinash, Babloo Prithiveeraj, and Divya Pillai in supporting roles.

The film was mostly shot in Malaysia and is Vijay Sethupathi's 51st lead role in Tamil cinema. It was initially announced as Vijay Sethupathi 51 in 2023, with the official title Ace revealed a year later.

Ace features music by Justin Prabhakaran, background score by Sam C. S., and cinematography by Karan B. Rawat. Editing is handled by Fenny Oliver, with action choreography by Dinesh Subbarayan, Don Ashok, Ricky, and James Chung. The VFX work is done by Pixel Light Studio Pvt. Ltd.
