Gandabherunda Mysore silk saree

Rukmini made her film debut in the Kannada thriller Birbal Trilogy (2019). She rose to prominence with the critically acclaimed two-part romantic drama Sapta Saagaradaache Ello: Side A and Side B (2023), earning the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress – Kannada.

Her notable works include Baanadariyalli, Bagheera, Bhairathi Ranagal, her Telugu debut Appudo Ippudo Eppudo, Tamil films Ace and Madharaasi, and the blockbuster Kantara: Chapter 1 (2025). Upcoming projects feature Toxic (with Yash), Dragon (opposite Jr NTR), a Malayalam film with Nivin Pauly, and Mangala Gowri.
