Born in Jaipur on October 12, 1995, Ruhi began as a model and beauty queen, winning Femina Miss India East and Miss Universal Peace and Humanity in 2014. She gained early visibility in the Emmy-nominated documentary The World Before Her (2012). Her acting debut came in Bollywood with Madhur Bhandarkar's ensemble drama Calendar Girls (2015), where she played Mayuri Chauhan.
