Born on September 18, 1994, in Himachal Pradesh, Ruhani began as a model and Punjabi music video star before entering acting. She made her film debut in the Tamil romantic drama Kadaisi Bench Karthi (2017). Her breakthrough came with the Telugu romantic comedy Chi La Sow (2018), earning praise for her relatable portrayal of Anjali. She debuted in Malayalam with the thriller Kamala (2019) and has since delivered versatile performances in hits like HIT: The First Case (2020), Her: Chapter 1 (2023) as a determined cop, Saindhav (2024), Operation Valentine (2024), and Sriranga Neethulu (2024).
Currently, Ruhani continues her pan-Indian journey with upcoming projects including the Tamil dark comedy-thriller Mask (2025) and the Telugu action-crime film Alcohol (2026) opposite Allari Naresh, showcasing her growing range across languages.
