Shared from Goa on her profile roshniwaliaa, the picture shows Roshni wearing a flowing orange skirt and a brown top, smiling freely as the fabric moves around her. Along with the picture, she wrote a simple line: “I know I’m different, and I like that.”
Roshni started her career as a child actor and grew up in front of the camera. Known to many for her work in Maharana Pratap and Tara From Satara, and later for Son of Sardaar 2, her life has never been as easy as it looked on screen.
One of the biggest influences in Roshni’s life has been her mother. After her parents separated, her mother made the brave decision to move from Allahabad to Mumbai with her children. It was not an easy step. Many people told her she would fail and return home, but she did not listen. She believed in her daughters and worked hard to give them a better future. Roshni often speaks with deep respect about her mother’s sacrifices, including selling her gold chain just to buy a phone that could help her career.
Roshni’s early days in the industry were demanding. As a child actor on the sets of Maharana Pratap, she worked long hours under intense pressure. She has openly spoken about being scolded, pushed to perform better, and even fainting during a long 24-hour shoot along with other child actors. At that time, the set became her school. The director was like a teacher, and every mistake was a lesson. Though it was tough, Roshni believes those experiences shaped her discipline and work ethic.
Her first audition itself was a turning point. Her family paid ₹7000 to apply through an agency, and by chance, she was selected. The first payment she received as an actor was also ₹7000, making it a moment she still remembers with pride.
