Ritika Singh embarked on her acting journey in 2013 when director Sudha Kongara Prasad spotted her in an advertisement for the Super Fight League. Impressed by her presence, Sudha approached Ritika for the leading role in her bilingual film, "Irudhi Suttru" (2016), also known as "Saala Khadoos" in Hindi. Ritika portrayed the character Madhi, a girl from the slums of Chennai with a passion for boxing. What made her stand out was her background as a professional boxer, adding authenticity to her performance.

"Irudhi Suttru" received widespread acclaim, with Ritika's portrayal earning her rave reviews. Critics praised her nuanced performance, with Sify.com describing her as a "marvelous discovery." Her ability to capture the essence of the character through her expressions, body language, and dialogue delivery was lauded by audiences and critics alike.

Ritika's talent was further recognized when she received a Special Mention at the 63rd National Film Awards for her performance in "Irudhi Suttru." This achievement marked her as the first actress who did not dub for her role to be honored at the National Awards.

Following her success, Ritika appeared in various films, including "Aandavan Kattalai," "Guru," "Shivalinga," and "Neevevaro," showcasing her versatility as an actress across different genres and languages. With her natural charm and acting prowess, Ritika continues to captivate audiences both on-screen and on social media, sharing glimpses of her life and adventures through her Instagram posts.
