Ritika Singh is a national-level martial artist. She made her name in the world of sports first. She competed in the 2009 Asian Indoor Games. She also took part in the Super Fight League and later stepped into the world of cinema. Her debut film was Irudhi Suttru. This film was released in 2016.

Irudhi Suttru was directed by Sudha Kongara. It was made in Tamil and Hindi at the same time. The Hindi version was called Saala Khadoos and Telugu version as Guru starring Venkatesh.
