Ritika Singh’s Fierce Avatar Blends Glamour With Her Athletic Edge

Ritika Singh, a former mixed martial artist and kickboxer who represented India at the 2009 Asian Indoor Games and competed in the Super Fight League, made a powerful transition to acting. She debuted in 2016 with the bilingual sports drama Irudhi Suttru (Tamil) / Saala Khadoos (Hindi), directed by Sudha Kongara, playing the fiery boxer Ezhil Madhi opposite R. Madhavan. Her authentic performance earned her a National Film Award – Special Mention and Filmfare Awards across Tamil, Hindi, and the Telugu remake Guru.

She has since appeared in films such as Aandavan Kattalai, Shivalinga, Oh My Kadavule, InCar, Kolai, and Vettaiyan (2024) alongside Rajinikanth. On the digital front, she starred in the series Bench Life (2024). Upcoming projects include the Tamil film Vanangamudi.
