Regina Cassandra is serving elegance with a swirl in her latest Instagram post where she shared a joyful moment in a breezy, white anarkali suit with delicate polka dots and pastel blue accents. With a radiant smile and effortless charm, she captioned the post:

“that’s my ‘I do make the best oat milk chai’ face ✨”

She also gave a shoutout to her creative team:

@officialanahita @baisegaba x @the.yellow.dot @uma_makeupartistry @venu_hairstylist @pranathivarma.k @tdf.studioz.

So what’s next for Regina Cassandra beyond fabulous Instagram looks? In a recent exclusive with SCREEN, Regina opened up about her Hindi film journey. Though she’s been a force in Tamil cinema for over 20 years and has left her mark in Telugu films, Bollywood came knocking only in 2019 with Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. Interestingly, she debuted as a queer character. Since then, she’s made waves in shows like Rocket Boys, Farzi and this year’s impactful films Jaat and Kesari 2, where she starred opposite Akshay Kumar. But why is she often cast in South Indian roles in Hindi films? “Maybe it’s the look, maybe it’s the tone but I’d love to explore more,” she reflects.

Regina doesn’t see herself entering any "evil era" like some stars declare. Instead, she speaks of balance doing a powerful role in Kesari 2 while grooving to an item song in Acharya back in 2022. “The industry is evolving, giving women a chance to play layered characters,” she notes. Regina acknowledges how social media keeps audiences alert and appreciative. When people say they wish her roles were bigger, it doesn’t feel like a loss—it feels like validation. “I take that home with gratitude,” she says. “It shows I’m on the right track.”
