Born on October 10, 1990, in New Delhi, Rakul Preet Singh is a versatile actress who predominantly works in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil films. She started as a model and made her acting debut with the Kannada film Gilli (2009). Her breakthrough came in Telugu cinema with films like Venkatadri Express (2013) and Loukyam (2014), earning her multiple Filmfare Award nominations.
She made her Bollywood debut with Yaariyan (2014) and has since delivered memorable performances in De De Pyaar De (2019), Chhatriwali (2023), Ayalaan (2024), Mere Husband Ki Biwi (2025), and De De Pyaar De 2 (2025).
