Pujita Ponnada (also known as Poojitha Ponnada), born October 5, 1989, in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, is a versatile Indian actress and model primarily working in Telugu cinema, with notable roles in Tamil films. A B.Tech graduate and former software engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, she transitioned to acting after short films like Upma Tinesindi (2015). Her movie debut came in 2016 with the bilingual Oopiri (Thozha in Tamil), playing a supporting role. She gained recognition with Rangasthalam (2018) as Padma in Sukumar's rural blockbuster opposite Ram Charan, followed by Kalki (2019) as SI Palapitta. Other key films include Happy Wedding (2018), Brand Babu (2018), Where Is the Venkatalakshmi (2019), Seven (2019 bilingual), Aakasa Veedhullo (2022 lead), Odela Railway Station, and Ravanasura (2023).
