Preethi Asrani Stands by the Window in Black Suit

In a recent interview, Preethi spoke about her career journey and the passion that led her to films. Born in Gujarat and raised in Hyderabad, she found her love for acting early. Her sister Anju Asrani, a well-known actress turned producer, inspired and supported her dreams. “She’s my biggest strength,” Preethi said, referring to her sister's new production banner, Anju Asrani Kreations. Even while working in films, Preethi stayed committed to her education. “I used to carry my books to sets,” she recalled with a smile, showing how she balanced both worlds.

Preethi gained critical attention for her role in the Tamil film Ayothi, though her film journey began back in 2017 with Telugu cinema. What sets her apart is her genuine love for languages she speaks Hindi, Sindhi, English, Telugu, Tamil, and Gujarati, and even understands Kannada and some Spanish. “Languages help me connect better with people,” she shared. Beyond the screen, she enjoys painting and believes in giving back often donating quietly to causes she supports.
