Born on July 30, 2001, in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, the NIT Trichy engineering graduate and trained Bharatanatyam dancer began with modelling and music videos, including the viral “Muttu Mu2” (2022) and “Aasa Kooda” (2024).

She made her film debut in the Telugu horror-comedy Om Bheem Bush (2024) as Jalaja, followed by her successful Tamil lead role in the romantic drama Star opposite Kavin. Her career expanded with Kannappa (2025), Malayalam films Maine Pyar Kiya and Sarvam Maya, and notable 2026 releases Blast and Idhayam Murali.

Ongoing projects include Telugu’s Emo Emo Idi, Tamil’s Dashamakan and Anbil Avan, plus her Hindi debut in Naagzilla. With versatile roles across South Indian cinema and beyond, Preity continues her rapid rise as a promising multi-lingual talent.
