Preity Mukhundhan’s Elegant Saree Look Is Winning Hearts

Born on 30 July 2001 in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, Preity is an NIT Trichy engineering graduate who began as a model and dancer. She gained early fame through music videos, notably the viral “Aasa Kooda” (2024).

She made her film debut in the Telugu horror-comedy Om Bheem Bush (2024) as Jalaja, followed by her Tamil lead debut as Meera Malarkodi in the romantic drama Star (2024) opposite Kavin. In 2025 she appeared in the pan-Indian epic Kannappa (as Nemali), made her Malayalam debut in Maine Pyar Kiya, and starred in Sarvam Maya.

Ongoing projects include the 2026 Tamil films Blast, Idhayam Murali (dual role), and Anbil Avan, plus Telugu’s Emo Emo Idi, Dashamakan, and her Hindi debut Naagzilla (2027). She is also set to play the female lead opposite Dhanush in D56. A rising multilingual talent, Preity continues to shine across South Indian cinema.
