Born Pragya Nayan Sinha on August 17, 1998, in Giridih, she completed her engineering studies at BITS Pilani and worked at Wipro before pursuing her passion for acting and modelling. Pragya made her film debut in the Telugu drama Samaram (2019), which addressed social issues.

She gained recognition with roles in Suraapanam (2022) as Parvati, the crime thriller Chakravyuham: The Trap (2023) as Shilpa, and several 2023–2024 releases including Bengaluru Boys, Janam, Badmash Gallaki Bumper Offer, We Love Bad Boys, and Fauji. Her standout performance came in the 2024 fantasy horror drama Kalinga, where she played Paddu opposite Dhruva Vaayu.

Pragya has several exciting ongoing and upcoming projects, including Mission C1000, Ugly Story, and DGP Kashmir. With her engineering background, graceful screen presence, and growing filmography, she continues to rise as a promising talent in Telugu cinema.
