Born on August 17, 1998, in Giridih, Jharkhand, Pragya Nayan Sinha is an engineer-turned-actress. An M.Tech graduate from BITS Pilani, she previously worked at Wipro before pursuing modelling and acting. She made her film debut with the Kannada movie Escape and entered Telugu cinema with Samaram (2019).

She gained recognition with roles in Suraapanam (2022) as Parvati and the thriller Chakravyuham: The Trap (2023) as Shilpa. Her performance as Paddu in the 2024 fantasy horror Kalinga further boosted her profile. Other credits include Bengaluru Boys, Janam, We Love Bad Boys, and Fauji.
