Her movie debut came in 2022 with the Tamil film Varalaru Mukkiyam, where she played Jamuna (a Malayali girl) opposite Jiiva. Despite mixed reviews for the film, her performance drew praise. She followed with N4 (2023, Tamil), Nadhikalil Sundari Yamuna (2023, Malayalam) as Yamuna, and entered Telugu cinema with Laggam (2024) as Maanasa.

Pragya's career showcases versatility across languages. Her ongoing projects include Baby & Baby (Tamil, 2025) as Priya, Idhayam Murali (Tamil, 2025), and the Malayalam comedy-drama Bombay Positive (slated for 2026 release).
