Pragya Jaiswal's Desi Nights Glamour: From Kanche to Daaku Maharaaj

A trained lawyer-turned-actress from Madhya Pradesh, Pragya Jaiswal began her journey with modelling before entering films. She made her acting debut in 2014 with the Tamil film Virattu. The same year, she appeared in the Hindi film Titoo MBA. Her breakthrough came with the Telugu period drama Kanche (2015), earning her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South.

She has since worked in several Telugu films including Gunturodu, Om Namo Venkatesaya, Jaya Janaki Nayaka, Achari America Yatra, and the blockbuster Akhanda (2021) opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna, where she reprised her role as Saranya in Akhanda 2: Thaandavam. In 2024, she made a mark in Bollywood with Khel Khel Mein. Her 2025 releases include Daaku Maharaaj as Kaveri.

Currently, she is filming Tyson Naidu (2026 release) and has wrapped up Sunny Deol’s crime thriller Soorya. With her elegance and versatility, Pragya continues to shine across industries.
