Pragya Jaiswal, a trained lawyer from Jabalpur, made her acting debut in the Tamil film Virattu (2014). She earned critical acclaim and the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South with her breakthrough role in the Telugu period drama Kanche (2015). She has since worked across Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil cinema, appearing in films like Gunturodu, Jaya Janaki Nayaka, Achari America Yatra, and the blockbuster Akhanda (2021) opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Her recent releases include the Hindi comedy Khel Khel Mein (2024) and the action drama Daaku Maharaaj (2025) as Kaveri opposite Balakrishna.

Ongoing and upcoming projects include Akhanda 2: Thaandavam and Tyson Naidu (2026), which is currently under filming.
